MYC Sacred Pods

To provide a safe sanctuary to practice yoga together, we have watched nature’s example,  & designed MYC Sacred Pods to help us all continue to thrive. You get yoga when you want it, how you want, & with whom you feel most comfortable!


Why a Pod? MYC Sacred Pods limit the total contact numbers in classes to help us ensure your safety & a hygienic environment, as well as maintain a regular schedule for our teachers. Our Teachers need our support! With Sacred Pods, teachers can keep steady work when students are able to take their classes & can tailor classes to their pods. They thrive by helping & inspiring students & designing creative practices to explore the body & mind.

Pods open a new & creative way we can come together to connect. Let's keep this practice sacred & fun & social in a time when disconnection & isolation may feel easiest.

Memberships, Class Passes, & Drop In sessions are VALID!

Whether that's online or in person, you can drop in as your life calls you to the mat!

Vinyasa Practice Pod with Jenna

Sunday, November 15th - December 6th, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Restorative Practice Pod

Indulge yourself with a restorative yoga practice. Center yourself in breath & body & align the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. Use of props assist in helping you to hold poses longer. Class concludes with guided meditation, taking your mind to a place of peace.

Sundays, November 15th - November 29th, 5-6 pm**

Sanctuary pods are designed to have the same 5 people in a four week series! This pod style aims to create a sense of community & continuity through each four week session!

You can choose your pod by gathering four of your friends that you feel comfortable to meet with & who are interested in committing to the pod series together. Or, you can let MYC place you in a small group with four other students ready to commit to a regularly scheduled class. In a time when building new connections & friendships feels near impossible from a social distance, this option brings you new Pod Friends to support each other through yoga. 

Slow Flow Sanctuary Pod with Rachel Stetenfeld

Come in for 75 minutes of nourishment on your mat. Opening with gentle yin postures, flowing with movement, breath, & intention, & closing with meditation or song, this class will be designed to re-stabilize & shift us back into a parasympathetic, rest & restore state.


Spending time in the parasympathetic improves digestion, calms anxiety, & shifts us out of the constant striving & alertness of our daily lives. The best ways to find ourselves there? Lengthening the breath, creating rhythm through mantra & movement, & spending time in community.
