COVID-19 Information

Like all of you, we’ve been following the developing coronavirus new reality. These are unprecedented times.

Yoga helps us to deal with stress and uncertainty, coming together to practice gives us connection and community. And, of course, yoga strengthens our bodies, and benefits health and strong immunity.

Continue Your Support of our Sweet Yogi Community!

This is brand new territory for all of us. Some people will be impacted greater than others.  However, we need to act with steady minds and calm, loving hearts. I have witnessed this with joy through emails of support, offers of donations for less fortunate (both at and outside of the yoga community). I have also heard of the hardships this is placing on many.  Our expense obligations remain the same, both for the business, and the employees and teachers it supports.

For those of you who would like to help Monona Yoga make it through this unprecedented time, there are things you can do:

Members:

If you are not personally financially afflicted during this time, please consider continuing to support Monona Yoga by keeping your membership going. Remember - all tiered membership passes roll over! If you are financially burdened (laid off, or reduced income), consider continuing support by offering a percentage of your membership.  Let us know how we can help by emailing mononayogacenter@gmail.com.

Non-members/Class Pass:

  • Purchase gift cards to use once we reopen.

Community:

Make a donation, should you have the means and desire to help in this way. Even a small amount can help. Any surplus of donations beyond that which keeps Monona Yoga Center operational will go to those who need it most (scholarships for yoga, kids yoga and our after school program).

If you would like to make a donation, please let us know by emailing mononayogacenter@gmail.com.

We will miss each and every one of you! We are so grateful for the beautiful and supportive community you have built together. The present moment is all we truly have, so continue to love, cook, play, hug, read, meditate, and practice yoga. Stay in touch - post your home practice and share it with or tag us!   We look forward to being reunited with all of you!
